  • Peter Obi, 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate
  • Nasir El-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna State
  • Rotimi Amaechi, former governor of Rivers State and ex-minister
  • David Mark, former Senate President and newly appointed interim national chairman of the ADC
  • Rauf Aregbesola, former Osun State governor and interim national secretary of the ADC

Also in attendance were:

The opposition bloc has officially adopted the ADC as its platform to challenge and unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The coalition seeks to form a united political front capable of driving a reform-focused agenda and reclaiming governance.

David Mark, who recently resigned from the PDP, has been appointed interim national chairman of the ADC, while Aregbesola will serve as the interim national secretary.

The conference is expected to unveil the coalition’s roadmap ahead of the 2027 elections, with key strategies to rally support across party lines and regions. The gathering marks a significant moment in Nigeria’s political landscape, signaling a coordinated and serious challenge to the incumbent administration.
