Nigerian music icon 2Baba has called for calm after revealing that his wife, Natasha Osawaru, has been receiving death threats amid mounting controversy about their relationship.
In a recent video message, the award-winning singer defended his choice of partner, stating that he is fully capable of making his own decisions.
“I have the right to be with whoever I want to be with. I am not a child,” he said.
2Baba criticised certain family members for aggravating the situation while pretending to protect him, accusing them of fueling negative narratives about Natasha.
Despite insisting that he is “perfectly okay,” the musician warned that public attention has escalated dangerously, placing his wife’s safety at risk.
He appealed to fans, relatives, and the media to “cease fire” and allow the couple to resolve their issues privately without interference.
The controversy stems from a heated social media live session where former associates accused Natasha of having excessive influence over 2Baba’s personal and professional decisions — allegations that have since ignited intense social media debate.
