MultiChoice has rolled out its festive season content schedule along with special holiday offers for GOtv customers, featuring an exciting mix of entertainment and discounted prices for the Christmas and New Year period, The Sun reported.
This yearâs holiday line-up includes a Holiday Pop-Up Channel, a dedicated AFCON 2025 channel, full-day Premier League access, and reduced decoder prices to ensure more households can enjoy premium entertainment throughout the season.

According to MultiChoiceâs Executive Head of Marketing, Tope Oshunkeye, the Holiday Pop-Up Channelâairing on GOtv Channel 49 from November 20, 2025, to January 3, 2026âwill showcase major celebrations across Africa. Viewers can look forward to:

The channel will spotlight concerts, cultural showcases, fashion, and various festive performances.
MultiChoice also announced expanded football coverage for GOtv Jolli customers, who will enjoy 24 hours of Premier League action on Sunday, November 30. Key matches will air on SuperSport EPL, SuperSport Action, and SuperSport Football.
GOtv Jolli and higher-tier customers will equally have access to a dedicated AFCON Pop-Up Channel on GOtv 59, broadcasting the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 holding in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. Most fixtures will air live, with additional matches available on SuperSport Africa 2 (GOtv 64) between December 29 and January 1.
Oshunkeye emphasized that combining sports, festivals, and reduced decoder prices was a deliberate effort to help families enjoy a richer holiday experience.
âOur festive season line-up is designed to bring joy, excitement, and value to our customers,â he said.
MultiChoice Announces New Decoder Prices
As part of its holiday offers, MultiChoice has reduced the price of GOtv decoders to as low as âŚ6,500, valid until December 31, 2025.
Earlier reports also confirmed that MultiChoice reduced the price of DStv decoders, dropping from âŚ10,000 to âŚ7,900, while GOtv decoders now cost âŚ6,500.
The company explained that these cuts reflect current economic realities and aim to make quality entertainment more accessible. A similar price reduction was implemented in June 2025 under the âWeâve Got Youâ campaign, where DStv and GOtv decoder prices were slashed by nearly 50%.
