Super Eagles’ Ola Aina Splashes Over ₦300m on New Mercedes-AMG GT Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, has added a stunning new ride to his garage, purchasing a 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT reportedly worth over ₦300 million.

The luxury acquisition comes just days before Nigeria kicks off their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.

The Nottingham Forest full-back, who helped his club to a strong start in the English Premier League (EPL), has been spotted flaunting his love for luxury cars. Only recently, he was seen cruising in a sleek all-black Bentley valued at ₦400 million.

Forest’s EPL Form

Aina’s club, Nottingham Forest, began the new EPL season with a statement win, thrashing Brentford 3-1 on August 15. Chris Wood scored twice, while Dan Ndoye added another before Brentford pulled back a late consolation through Igor Thiago.

In their follow-up clash on August 24, Forest were held to a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, with Callum Hudson-Odoi netting the equaliser after Ismaila Sarr’s opener.

Sales Rep Confirms Delivery

Luxury car dealer and AMG specialist, Gurijinder Grewal, confirmed delivering the high-end Mercedes to the Nigerian international.

He wrote on Instagram:
“Signed, sealed, delivered – a Mercedes for a true baller. Pleasure to do business with a brilliant man.”

Focus Shifts to World Cup Qualifiers

Despite his taste for luxury, Aina’s focus remains firmly on the pitch as he has been included in Nigeria’s 31-man provisional squad for the World Cup qualifiers.

The Super Eagles, currently sitting fourth in their group after six matches, must win both fixtures to stand a strong chance of reaching the global showpiece.

  • Nigeria vs Rwanda – September 6, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
  • South Africa vs Nigeria – September 9, 2025, in Bloemfontein.

The Super Eagles missed out on the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, following a heartbreaking draw with Ghana in Abuja. Fans are now hopeful Aina and his teammates can turn things around this time.

Aina’s Commitment to Nigeria

Born in London to Nigerian parents, Aina came through Chelsea’s academy and played for England’s youth teams before committing to Nigeria in 2017. Explaining his decision, he said his heart has always been with the Super Eagles.

As the 2026 qualifiers approach, Aina will be expected to combine his defensive prowess with leadership as Nigeria battles for a spot on football’s biggest stage.
