Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has thrown subtle shade at her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, following the release of her brother, Sammy West, from prison.
Reports confirm that Sammy was granted bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, after spending several days in detention. He was initially remanded at Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court before being transferred to Suleja Prison.
His elder brother, @Sweezzy1, broke the news on Instagram, writing:
“Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
Reacting to the development, Regina Daniels expressed deep gratitude to everyone who stood by her during the difficult period. The actress, who appeared visibly relieved, said she felt genuinely loved by the overwhelming support from fans and colleagues.
In a playful yet bold jab, Regina mocked her estranged husband, saying:
“Joke’s on you, Ned, because you thought people would hate me,”
before sticking her tongue out in a light-hearted gesture.
The mother of two also revealed that although many people mocked her online, the criticism only made her stronger. She added that while some pitied her, she disliked being seen as a victim.
Regina went on to acknowledge those who fought relentlessly for her and her family during the ordeal, saying their loyalty and support meant the world to her.
Ending her statement on a cheerful note, she declared:
“I’m just happy Sammy is free — one battle down!”
