Pastor Enenche Decries Plots Against Nigeria

Abuja, FCT — The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has declared that there are agents of the devil working to keep Nigeria in sorrow and turmoil, claiming that some of them hold positions of power and influence within the nation’s security forces.

The fiery cleric made the statement in a resurfaced video from one of his July 2018 ministrations, which he reposted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, @drpaulenenche, on Monday, November 10, 2025.

His remarks came just days after former U.S. President Donald Trump accused Nigeria of alleged Christian genocide, a claim that has stirred renewed debate about religious violence in the country.

“Every Jihadist Came Too Late” — Enenche Declares

In the trending video, Pastor Enenche declared divine judgment upon those he described as enemies of peace and progress in Nigeria:

“There are agents of the devil in this nation who desire to keep our country in sorrow — some even hiding in positions of power and within the security forces.
But today, by the mantle of Elijah, I decree — they shall be buried!
I have bad news for every jihadist — no matter where you came from or where your conspiracy was hatched — you came too late!
To everyone in authority or within the security forces working against the peace and destiny of this nation, I declare:
We shall see the end of you — you shall not see the end of Nigeria!
You shall not see the end of Christianity! You shall not see the end of the Middle Belt. We shall see the end of you!”

Mixed Reactions Trail Enenche’s Video

The pastor’s bold message sparked widespread reactions across social media.

@Altegodfather wrote:

“Omor, leave decree and declare matter o… Christians need redemption fast. The killings are happening daily, and clerics have been decreeing from the beginning of time.”

@Chomscious commented:

“You have been vocal for years, sir. Sometimes I get tired of all the prayers raised for Nigeria during intercessions.”

@Audumik added:

“Amen and amen, papa. Even some men of God are hiding behind the pulpit to shield this evil agenda. Let God judge everyone.”

@AnnieSaliss noted:

“Thanks for always lending your voice, Dr. Enenche. Posterity will be kind to you.”

Meanwhile, @AbioyeBenjamin1 posted:

“Spraying machines are needed on this matter, sir. They spray, we pray. It can’t work.”

@Chiefikennaya remarked:

“I give it to you, Sir. You’re one of the few still speaking boldly about Nigeria’s issues. Jisie ike, Sir.”

Bishop Abioye Reacts to Alleged Christian Genocide

In a related development, Bishop David Abioye also spoke out against attempts by “wicked people” to deny reports of Christian persecution in Nigeria.

While U.S. envoy Massad Boulos dismissed Trump’s claims, stating that terrorism in Nigeria affects both Christians and Muslims, Bishop Abioye urged believers to remain steadfast in faith, praying for divine intervention and national unity.

Pastor Enenche’s viral video has reignited conversations about religious violence, governance, and spiritual warfare in Nigeria. While some praise his boldness, others question the effectiveness of prayers in addressing long-standing insecurity and injustice across the nation.
